Inspired by the Charm of Europe
Toscana was born from a simple but powerful idea — to bring the warmth and spirit of European dining to Arlington Heights. Not the rushed, transactional kind of dining, but the kind where people linger, share stories, and feel genuinely cared for.
From the very first day in 2008, we set out to create more than a restaurant. We wanted a space that felt both elegant and completely unpretentious — where a first date feels as welcome as a family of six celebrating a birthday.
The name Toscana is no accident. Tuscany — with its rolling hills, centuries-old recipes, and the Italian belief that a meal is a moment to be savored — is exactly the spirit we've tried to bottle up and bring to Central Road.

Recipes Made with Heart & Patience
Our menu is built on the classics — the Italian dishes that have stood the test of time because they simply work. Pasta made fresh in-house every morning. Sauces simmered low and slow. Proteins sourced and prepared the right way.
We believe in doing things right. That means recipes passed down and perfected over time, not shortcuts. It means our kitchen treats every dish — whether it's a Tuesday lunch or a Saturday anniversary dinner — with the same level of care.
That's what keeps our guests coming back. They know what they're getting. And what they're getting is food made with genuine love for the craft.
Rooted in Tradition,
Always Moving Forward
Over 17 years, Toscana has grown alongside Arlington Heights. We've hosted first dates that became weddings. Birthday parties for kids who are now bringing their own kids. Corporate lunches, holiday gatherings, funeral luncheons — every kind of occasion, every chapter of life.
We're proud of what we've built, but more than that, we're proud of the community that built it with us. Our guests aren't just customers — they're neighbors, regulars, and friends. It's this connection that makes us who we are.
Whether you're dining in, ordering takeout, or hosting an event in our private room, we're always genuinely excited to serve you. That excitement hasn't changed since day one — and it never will.
